DAY 28 Batavia,NY to Liverpool,NY 121MILES 3780FT CLIMBING

Hi all we woke up to great weather warm but it was windy it was a sw wind at 15to20mph.Like i thought in the hotel the wind would help us as much as it would hurt us i was right the side wind made it tough going.I got to first sag stop only to find out that chris from cali had been hit by a car.At this point he is still at the ER .From what i hear it just abrashunes lets hope for the best.It just hits home that what we are doing is so dangeruse.We all must stay viglent and not get conplaycent.We finished out the day without forethere incident. Only three days to go hard to beleave i thought i was going to live in a days inn foreever .LOL Tommorow its of to Amsterdam,NY till then good night MANNNY:)

DAY 27 Dunkirk,NY to Batavia,NY 83 MILES 2400FT CLIMBING

Hi every today was what you would call a active rest day,who would have thought that going 83miles would become a rest day.It was a cloudy day no rain and very little wind a good day to just soft pedal for 5 hrs.A group of us roled into the hotel at around 1:15 so plent of time to rest and do our last load of laundry befor we get to Amesbury .We still have 4 day of hard riding ahead of us wed and thur will be very tough with over 8000ft climbing both days at that point ill run up those hills.Its going to be good to be home after all theres no place like home.Ill talk to you guys from Amstardam NY MANNY:)

DAY 26 Warren,OH to Dunkirk,NY 141 MILES 2200FT CLIMBING

Hello everyone another day in the books.We woke up to warm temps and clear skies which is always good.Today was a long milage day but they seemed to just click by mybe were all realizing that our x country journey is fast coming to a end.It was a three state day and pleanty to see Lake Erie was awsome and so many buetiful vinyards.Tommorow is a light day only 83 miles like a rest day be for our finale push into Amesbury Ma.Talk to you from Batavia,NY THANX MANNY:)

DAY 25 Wooster,OH to Warren,OH 98MILES 4800FT CLIMBING

Hi everyone the sun was out today so were all happy bike riders,it,s ammazing after you ride in the rain for 4 days 8hrs a day when the sun comes out you feel reborn just right.At the 15 mile mark we got a surprise my riding buddy "OHIO BOB"AKA 53-12 had a bunch of cycling buds from his local club join us into the first sag there must have been 15to20 of them.I was very happy for bob to see all the support he got out on the road it was awsome and well deserved he,s a great guy and crazy strongh on the bike.Got to the hotel early around 2 thats always nice going to rest up for tommorow it will be a long day 139 miles lets hope for good weather.Till then ill leave you with some pic of my new buckey freinds THANX MANNY:)

DAY 24 Marysville,OH to Wooster,OH 103 MILES 4000FT CLIMBING

Hi everone it stopped raining !!! we left the hotel at 7am under cloudy skys.The day turned out awsome some of the best roads we have ridden so fare lots of twistys and alot of steeep short climbs some were 14 percent then a wicked fast down hills.Yes it was a good day on the bike.Got to talk to some of the local amish people,they were very nice what a pure simple life they live as i pedaled i wonderd to my self what it would be like to have such a pure and simpler life.Well only 7 day to go Amesbury here we come,tommorow its of to Warren,OH.Just talked to my good freind john hurley the man that inspired me to take the journey, it was great catching up with him he,s a great guy.Well time to hit the hay talk to you all from Warren, OH GOOD NIGHT MANNY:)

DAY 23 Richmond,IN to Marysville,OH 105 miles 1810ft climbing

Hi all another wet day what can you do just ride and ride we did.The wind was not so bad today and the temps were up a little.At this point just trying to stay positive and take one day at a time good or bad weather.Got to the hotel by 3 not so bad 7hrs in the saddle the hot shower felt great.Hard to beleave will be in amesbury next thur so if you not doiny anything to inportent come to the finish we would all love the support.Ill talk to you from Wooster,OH have a good night MANNY:)
